Mike's Yard Has Great Bugs

Spent a wonderful afternoon at Mike's yard photographing IFOs (Identifiable Flying Objects). Quite an impressive dragonfly hatch is going on somewhere nearby as hundreds were showing up in my friend's back yard. The mating pair of butterflies were impressive, too, in their persistence. Whenever I disturbed them, they'd take a flight around the yard, remaining attached, then carry on after landing in another place. Seems that the larger female is doing the flying and the make is being dragged along for the ride. The smaller, orange butterflies were also abundant and were landing on many different kinds of flowers. Next post will be of some of my friend's flowers - without bugs on them.
