I've had trouble sleeping lately, and it has resulted in a cold. Today, I stumbled across a flower photo on a website that reminded me that back in April, 2010, I posted photos of the flower shown above that was growing in my dirt driveway. I couldn't identify it. Well, now I think it's Allophyllum gilioides, Purple Gilia, among other common names. Maybe a real botanist out there could confirm or correct this for me?
