The Protagonist

Back on the home front, after capturing a nice image of a crab spider at the college, my front yard denizen caught a bee just before sundown.  She held onto it all night, and still had it in its grasp by noon.
I ran a few early afternoon errands, and by 1:00, the bee had fallen out of sight.  Now, at four in the afternoon, she has another meal in her grasp.  This ongoing story could be a photo essay on daisies, but they're just the setting.  In my peripheral wanderings, I am seeing many other visitors to the daisies - mostly beetles and flies of various kinds - but the Crab Spider is the star of the show.
