Found again.

The Seedpod of Yellow Wood Sorrell described in my previous post is about an inch long.  Too green and wet to explode on contact, I thought I'd do a minor dissection, with my fingernails, to show the seeds.  Lined up like "peas in a pod," they get thrown up to at least 10 feet away from the parent plant when the dried pods are touched.  I can imagine these explosions knocking certain insects off their feet, and maybe sometimes shooting down a hovering fly or bee.  It's the Sorrell's form of propaganda.which is the dissemination of information.  In this case, instead of church doctrine it's DNA.  More trustworthy.
