Better from behind?

On certain cloudy, cool, and humid days, the Crimson Columbine are mostly hanging low, so when I approach a patch, I first see nearly all the blossoms from behind.  I don't know if it's an example of the Hawthorne Effect or just my cantankerous nature, but the flower seems more beautiful from this perspective.  At least it did when I took this photo last Wednesday while mainly in pursuit of Mountain Lady Slippers.  It occurred to me that lots of things sometime look better from behind - certain cars, like perhaps the Edsel, certain people, a classic caboose, rattlesnakes?  Maybe me.
